What Is the Price of Pulping Defoamer?
Jun 21, 2023There are many methods of pulping, but there are also many problems that need to be paid attention to in the pulping process, and the foam problem is one of them. If the quality of the paper produced is too poor, it will make the manufacturer lose credibility. How can we quickly solve such a problem? The pulping defoamer will explain it to you in detail.
Plant fiber is an important component of pulping. When the pulping defoamer was firstly introduced, many manufacturers were worried that the defoamer would have a bad effect on the composition of the paper. However, the defoamer was originally developed for the foam problem in the pulping process. In addition to being able to defoam well, it will not cause adverse chemical reactions to the chemical substances in the pulping process, and quickly solves the problem of foam generation.
The process of pulping by chemical treatment requires the addition of different chemical additives and high-temperature processing. The addition of chemical additives will increase the production of foam, but the pulping can not be completed well without the addition of chemical additives. Manufacturers know that strong alkali is added in the pulping process. Will this strong alkali affect the pulping defoamer? In fact, the pulping defoamer is not only resistant to strong acid and alkali, but also resistant to high temperature, and can perform normal defoaming and foam suppression in poor environments.
Causes of Foaming in Papermaking Pulping Process
1.High-speed stirring: Due to the need for high-speed stirring during the pulping process, a large amount of stable and stubborn foam is generated. The foam brings great obstacles to the subsequent cleaning, transportation, bleaching, etc., causing floating paddles .
2. Chemical additives: Different chemical additives need to be added in the process of pulping by chemical treatment, and after high-temperature processing, the addition of chemical additives will increase the production of foam, but without adding them, the pulping process cannot be completed well.
3. Air mixing: There are many operations that will cause air to be mixed into the process water and white water, resulting in the formation of foam. The high content of air bubbles will dehydrate the wire part of the paper making and cause cavitation. These bubbles will have a significant impact on the operation of paper machines and the quality of paper.
4. Pulping process: during the pulping process, the slurry falls in a waterfall shape, the air of the slurry pump leaks, the agitator of the slurry tank is stirred too strongly or the agitator is exposed to the liquid surface, and the pressure at the slag discharge port of the conical slag remover is too low, which will produce foam. The fermentation of the slurry and the acidification and decomposition of carbonate will release carbon dioxide, and will also form foam.
