T30 is a nonionic hydrophobically modified ethylene oxide urethane (HEUR) rheology modifier designed for waterborne architectural and functional coatings. T30 is a low odor, solvent, APEO and OrganoTin free product.

T30 offers a near Newtonian rheology profile. It is an excellent flow/leveling reagent and is particularly suitable with small particle sizes of latex emulsions such as acrylic and styrene-acrylic binders.

T30 provides superior film formation and gloss development. It is highly efficient for building high shear ICI viscosity. T30 is recommended to be used in interior and exterior paints.

Application:
T30 can be used in a variety of latex paint formulations, and is fully compatible with other rheology
modifiers. In particular, using T50 or T80 with T30 will increase low-shear viscosity and often
provide the optimum balance of high- and low-shear viscosity in flat through gloss formulations. T30
can be a sole thickener when used in semi-gloss to high gloss latex paints based on small particle size
hydrophobic acrylic and styrene/acrylic binders.
