T20 offers a near Newtonian rheology profile. It is an excellent flow/leveling reagent and is particularly suitable with small particle sizes of latex emulsions such as acrylic and styrene-acrylic binders. T20 is highly efficient for high shear ICI viscosity and improves the film formation property.

T20 is recommended to be used in interior and exterior paints, and provides superior flow and leveling, film formation, gloss development and high shear ICI viscosity.

Application:
T20 can be used in a variety of latex paint formulations, and is fully compatible with other rheology
modifiers. In particular, using T50 or T80 with T20 will increase low-shear viscosity and often provide the optimum balance of high- and low-shear viscosity in flat through gloss formulations. T20 can be a sole thickener when used in semi-gloss to high gloss latex paints based on small particle size hydrophobic acrylic and styrene/acrylic binders.
