Mineral oil increases the spreading speed of anti-foaming particles, and the hydrophobic particles reduce the entry barrier of anti-foaming particles. The interaction between these two provides great anti-foaming performance. Meanwhile, mineral oil has good affinity with organic matter, so it doesn’t cause surface defect. ​
