In many applications, because of surfactants chemicals , machine speed , stirring operation, pumping,and other factors, foam is generated stably. Defoamers, antifoaming agents, antifoams, and air release agents are employed to eliminate foam in industrial operation.

Silicone based defoamers(PDMS or Modified siloxanes with dydeophobic silica) are higher efficienct and durable in a variety of industries, as their low surface temsion contributes to rapid spreading at air gas interface and weakens the foam wall to destroy .
